Recommended SOS Programs for Grades 6-8:

  1. Water Falls: Extreme Events: Learn how too much or too little water can spell disaster through this exploration of droughts, landslides, tropical storms and floods.
  2. Fronts and Forecasts: Learn to identify fronts and learn that the speed and direction in which a front is moving can give you a starting point for predicting weather.
  3. Earth, Our Goldilocks Planet: Learn why Earth is in the perfect position for life to flourish, as well as how water and temperature determine if life is possible in other parts of the solar system.
