Clyde Butcher – Cuba: The Natural Beauty
IMAG Historical Speaker Series – Cuba
The IMAG History & Science Center is presenting Clyde Butcher, award-winning photographer, conservationist, and humanitarian, at its Distinguished Speakers Series on Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM. During the evening, Butcher will meet and greet guests and do a signing for his book, “Cuba: The Natural Beauty” which documents Clyde Butcher’s photographic expeditions in Cuba. Butcher was invited to photograph the mountains of Cuba for the United Nations Conference for the Sustainable Habitat of the Mountain; 2002 was declared “The Year of the Mountains.” Making the evening all the more spectacular, guests will also enjoy Clyde Butcher’s photographs from his expeditions to Cuba as they savor light Cuban-inspired refreshments.
